On the 30th of April 2022, following the effects of ' Lockdown ' 1 and 2, Lodge St James Newton Upon Ayr 125, finally got to celebrate

its 250th Anniversary. Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire was represented by a large and distinguished Deputation headed by Provincial Grand Master William Caven Steel. Grand Lodge of Scotland was represented by Depute Grand Master Mason Bro Jim Bell.
